CBSE Class XI Detailed Marking Scheme for Hindi and English:
Students of commerce, science, humanities first paper compulsorily need to be Hindi or English. For paper 2-3-4 they can choose from academic subjects according to their stream.
Question Paper Design for English core, English elective, Hindi core, Hindi elective 2021:
Hindi Core and elective paper, English Core and elective paper will be assessed partially through internal assessment and partially through written exams. Students need to provide projects and seminars to score marks in internal assessment.
- The written exams will be for 3 hours.
- This paper is divided into two parts: A & B.
- Part A and B both will be for 40 Marks each.
- Instruction will be provided separately for each question if required.
- Students should not exceed the word limit.

CBSE Class XI Detailed Marking Scheme for Commerce Subject:
Commerce stream students usually choose subjects accounts, economics, business studies. Entrepreneurship along with compulsory subjects.
Accounts , economics, maths, business studies papers are assessed on 80marks for written exams and 20 marks for internal assessment. Entrepreneurship paper is assessed on 70 marks . Students need to provide projects and seminars to score marks in internal assessment.
Question Paper Pattern
- The written exams will be for 3 hours.
- The question paper will be divided into two Parts. There will be 32 questions in the question paper to answer.
- The word limit for questions :
- For 3 marks: 50 to 75 words
- For 4 marks – about 150 words.
- For 6 marks- about 200 words.
- Answers should be to the point and should not cross the word limit.

Science stream students usually choose chemistry, physics, biology, maths, applied maths subjects. Chemistry, Physics, Biology papers have 70 marks written exams and 30 marks practicals. 80 marks for Applied mathematics is assessed through written exam and 20 marks for internal assessment. –
